Instrument Instruction

Music Lessons

One on one lessons with the instrument of your choosing.  Each student’s pace and focus is tailored to their own goals and learning needs.  Students are guided and mentored into becoming musicians.

Music can change the world because it can change people. – Bono

About The Lessons

Students dictate the pace, goals, and desires of their music education.  Once an instrument is selected, the playing begins in the first lessons.  When the student feels comfortable with their instrument, songs and melodies will be introduced.  It isn’t long before a student starts playing music they enjoy listening to.

As one progresses through the lessons and songs, the warm-ups and exercises will be a method for learning music theory.  Learning theory strengthens playing ability and deepens the understanding of music in general.  A keen awareness of music theory also gives students the skills to “speak” with other musicians.

When the student is familiar and comfortable with their instrument, and has music theory comprehension taught throughout, that student emerges as a musician.
